TECEP Exams
Thomas Edison State College Examination Program
Thomas Edison State College offers more than 50 examinations. These examinations, known as TECEP® tests, are specifically designed
to permit students to demonstrate the college-level knowledge they have gained through work, personal interests, or independent study by
taking a single examination.
Originally, the tests were only available to Thomas Edison State College students. TECEP® examinations can be proctored at any
accredited college or university or public library. Students check with their college as to the acceptability for TECEP® credit at their

Test Cost: $70 per credit for Thomas Edison Students or $140 per credit for Non-Thomas Edison
Students
Most colleges charge a nonrefundable administration fee to proctor the exam.
