Online Test Preparation
These study
materials are reasonably priced and most of them come with a money back guarantee. Important note:
Some study materials claim that they are all you need to pass. Take that with a grain of salt. Even if they do provided a refund if you fail,
you are still out the exam fee and have to wait 6 months to repeat the test. Unless you are very familiar with the study material I suggest you
find at least two sources to review for each exam until you get comfortable testing.
InstantCert Academy
- I must say that InstantCert is my favorite study tool. For only $20 a month you get access to over 120 credits worth of study material for CLEP, DSST and a
few ECE exams. That means whether you study and take one exam or ten exams in a month you only pay $20. This is
one of the "Must Haves" if you are earning your degree with Credit by Examination. Even though there are thousands of questions to go
through I wouldn't classify it as a practice test because it is not in multiple choice format. It is more like online flashcard in that you
have to type in correct answer which helps you retain the information so much more effectively. If you are on a tight budget and can only
try one of these products, this is the one. Click here for more information.
Finish College Fast - These are ebook style study guides that are short and to
the point. They give you a general overview of the material on each exam. They also come with flash cards and a few practice questions. I
would suggest getting yourself a good bank of practice questions to go along with these guides. Click
here for more information. Good in combination with InstantCert Academy
.
CLEP Secrets - Short overviews of some of the more popular CLEP exams. I
wouldn't count on these by themselves. Click Here for more information.
Peterson’s - Three full-length, online practice tests, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and focus your study time where you need it.
The general consensus is that these are a bit harder than the real exams. Click Here for more
information.
I Study Smart - These materials are more expensive but I wouldn't classify
them as "study guides" they are more like a self paced course. If you feel like you need to go through the full class on your own schedule
you might want to give this a try. For most exams I think one of the more inexpensive options above will do. Click here for more information.
