DSST Exams
Dantes Subject Standardized Tests
Dantes exams, originally developed for the Department Of Defense, are offered by Thomson Prometric. The tests are
still pencil and paper, so it can take a few weeks to get your score report. There are over 37 test that can be taken at most college testing centers. Credits for DSST are accepted at
close to 2000 colleges an universities in the
US. DSST exams are usually awarded 3 credits each. Depending on the institution some DSST exams can be used for upper (junior and senior) level

Test Cost: $60
Most colleges charge a nonrefundable administration fee to proctor the exam.
